If you're new to owning horses, want a safe and relaxed place to learn and ask questions, this session is for you. We'll cover the basics, working with our small herd - haltering, leading, lifting feet, grooming, bridling, and putting rugs on, as examples. Morning tea included.

Understanding Horse Behavior
Flight Response: Horses are prey animals and have a strong instinct to flee from danger.
Body Language: Learn to read a horse's body language, including ear position, tail movement, and posture.
Trust Building: Establishing trust is crucial; approach horses calmly and confidently.
Basic Handling and Safety Techniques
